There was a slight spark coming from the Dratini's body. That spark jolted the little pup and although it didn't hurt him, it froze his body from moving. It was hard for him to move, as if he was drown in mud. "Growlithe! Try your best and use Bite!" She cheered up. The Growlithe tried hard to move, he pushed himself forward to attack the Dratini. |

Dratini quickly went on to use leer yet again to lower growlithe's defense but the dog pokemon once agan used bite which caught the dragon pokemon.  lv 5 5/19 wrap19/20 leer29/30 thunder wave20/20 speed:10 vs  lv5 17/22 bite23/25 Roar20/20 speed:12 exp0/44 -2 defense Paylyzed |

The situation looked like she was winning. However, the dratini has managed to yet again startled the little pup with her leer move. If she could deliver this one last hit, she would surely, win... unless the boy used a potion or something though. Well, this is the only thing the Growlithe could do. Give it his all. "Let's go, Growlithe! Use Bite!" She commanded. Once again, the Pup pushed his stunned body and aimed his fangs on the Dratini. |

"Dratini hit it with a wrap attack!" He commanded Dratini was now much faster than the growlithe and easily avoided the bite before once again wrapping its body around growlithe which did 4 damage to growlithe. Growlithe was hurt by the pain of wrap as dratini let go and returned by his trainer. "Good dratini once more use leer!" As she thought, it was a miss. But she couldn't give up. She had to place her faith in the Growlithe. Yes, she will win this fight. "Growlithe! Try your best and attack the Dratini with Bite!" She yelled. The Growlithe, eyes burning with determination tried his best to attack the Dratini again. |

Dratini quickly used leer lowering your defense yet again. gorwlithe tried to hit it with bite but the dratini used its worm like body to easily avoid the attack. it seemed like the next move would determine the battle. growlithe was hurt by wrap pain. lv 5 5/19 wrap18/20 leer29/30 thunder wave20/20 speed:10 vs lv5 7/22 bite23/25 Roar20/20 speed:12 exp0/44 -3 defense Paylyzed |

The Growlithe was annoyed at how his attacks couldn't make it to the Dratini. He almost got the Dratini, yet all his attempts to reach the dragon Pokemon failed. He was angered now. His will power had rose up that made him gave his all to move. "Growlithe! Go!" She yelled. The Growlithe didn't have to be told what to do. He knew what he needed to do. He surged forward, and searched for the slightest chance for him to deliver his last bite. |

Dratini rushed in and quickly used wrap on growlithe which did 4 damage to growlithe however growlithe then responded by biting the dratini knocking it out. It seemd you had won until growlithe winced in pain and collapsed. The battle had become a draw... "Dratini!" The boy said as he picked up his pokemon before returning her to her pokeball. "That was an awesome first battle my name is O'carlio Nimbus but please just call me Carl." She rushed into the Growlithe's aide once she saw the Growlithe stumbled and fell. The Growlithe made a dissatisfied look before fainting, yet she smiled at him. She crouched down and picked him up before kissing him slightly on the forehead. "It's alright. You won." She whispered to him. She knew the result was a draw, yet after what the Growlithe went through. She decided to award him the fake dream. "You won, don't worry." She whispered, so low that the other boy couldn't hear her.
The boy then held his hand out as he introduced his name. She couldn't hear him clearly for his name was too long. But then he shortened it into just "Carl". Which was easy to remember. But knowing herself, she won't remember him. She might even forget him in mere seconds after this. "Yes. It was a great battle, Carl." She said as she shook hands with the boy. Then she hurried back to the lab. She didn't want to let the Growlithe suffer the pain any longer that she returned him into his Pokeball and sprinted to the laboratory. Requesting for a treatment from the Professor for her Growlithe. |

The professor quickly took growlithe and it was only a matter of seconds but he was completely healed and fighting fit.
"Growl!" He said as he hung his head a little low. He then looked up with a fire in his eye. it seemed like he really wanted another go at Carl's Dratini.
What would you do now? Leave towards popilu city? Or do something else?

"Thank you very much for healing my Growlithe, Professor!" She said to the lady. The Growlithe, once injured and messed up was now completely healed and refreshed. It's glowing with perfect health now. He's not the same Growlithe he was a few moments ago. Where he stood in the battlefield, paralyzed and hurt. In which she didn't even want to picture anymore.
The small pup barked. The flame of determination still lit up on its eyes. It seemed like he was really annoyed by that Dratini. It was seeking revenge. "Yes. Let's train harder. So that when we crossed path, we can win against them." She said as she crouched down and petted him. That last battle was a complete failure for both her and the Growlithe. She failed herself as a trainer and the Growlithe failed himself as the battler. They were just not strong enough. That's why.
"Should we go out and train?" She asked, at which responded with the Growlithe's happy barks. She then waved another goodbye to the Professor and left the laboratory, again. |

You soon arrive outside to see a weird guy standing up looking at the sky. "This is the dregga region huh... hehe. The boss grew up in this region I rather azu-" He said cutting off himself as he saw you. "I guess I should think and not speak." He said walking down the road. "She might know too much." He whispered under his breath.
